Overwatch Halloween Event Leaked

Overwatch Halloween Event Leaked

It seems like Overwatch will be getting a Halloween themed event soon, according to numerous leaks.

The first leak appeared on the European PlayStation Blog, which stated that the game will be receiving special Halloween Loot Boxes in sets of two, five, eleven, and twenty four, available for DLC.

The second finding was the Taiwanese Overwatch website, which had the event revealed. Discovered by Reddit user Summon 528, the image below shows Overwatch characters dressed in special Halloween outfits, contributing to the idea that these costumes will be available in the Loot Boxes. The event was listed for October 11 and 12, so perhaps an announcement is immanent.

The final leak comes from the Xbox Store. Discovered by Reddit user ChronosHero, the listing shows the Loot Boxes available for download, basically confirming that they exist. The description on the Xbox Store mentions that the boxes will include up to four cosmetic items, including emotes, Halloween skins, and victory poses.

Blizzard has yet to comment on the announcement, though the event must be coming soon since it's a Halloween themed event and the holiday is just around the corner.
