Destiny's New Raid is Getting Heroic Mode Soon

Destiny's New Raid is Getting Heroic Mode Soon

You may have conquered Wrath of the Machine, Rise of Iron's new raid, but the true challenge has yet to come. Bungie has announced that Heroic Mode will make its way to the raid on October 18.

The announcement comes way from the Destiny Blog which reads,

Have you ventured deep into the Plaguelands to destroy Aksis? If you have not, there is still time to increase your Light, form up a dream team, and embark on the mission. If you have completed that mission, the true test of teamwork and cunning is yet to come.

Grab your Fireteam and prepare to eliminate Aksis and friends in this intensified raid. This time around, enemies will be dropping gear with light levels upwards of 400, the game's level cap.

This is quite possibly the final raid that will come to Destiny before a proper sequel is released, so why not achieve the ranks of the strongest and most elite Guardians.

At the end of the post it says that Bungie will be watching to see the first team that completes the raid, and will then celebrate. Not sure exactly what that means, but perhaps a Destiny pizza party is in order? Find out on October 18 when Wrath of the Machines Heroic Mode is available.
