NES Classic Edition is Sold Out Everywhere, But There is Still Hope

NES Classic Edition is Sold Out Everywhere, But There is Still Hope

Today the NES Classic Edition came out, and in traditional Nintendo fashion it's sold out everywhere.

Nintendo never offered pre-orders for this mini-NES, nor was anyone told how limited stock would be, though if the Wii, Amiibo, and various limited edition 3DS' were anything to go off of, this shortage was to be expected.

We at Second Best Gaming couldn't manage to get our hands on one, so our previews and unboxing will be a little late. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will keep you posted as soon as we can get our hands on one.

There is hope, however! According to Kotaku, Amazon has announced that today at 5 p.m. Eastern, a limited number of units will go on sale. The limit is one per person. If this is to be true, expect these to sell out within seconds. Be ready.

The NES Classic Edition is Nintendo's new, and seemingly impossible to find, throwback console that comes pre-loaded with 30 games.
