Nintendo Switch and Zelda: Breath of the Wild Debut on The Tonight Show

Last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé and legendary game developer Shigeru Miyamoto came by to debut The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running on the Nintendo Switch.

The video starts out with Super Mario Run and then goes into the Switch around the 4:55 mark. Fallon got to hold the new device in his hands, and we got a closer look at the tech. It seems like the charging port for the Switch may be a USB-C port, though it is hard to tell.

Nintendo will reveal more about the Switch on January 12. The Switch will launch in March 2017, while Zleda: Breath of the Wild will release sometime later in the year. Super Mario Run will come to iOS on December 15 for $9.99, but starting Thursday you can go to any Apple store around the nation to try a special demo of the game.

Last night's show ended with Miyamoto playing along with the band The Roots on guitar to the tune of the Super Mario Bros. theme.
