The slim model features some new specs that may entice players to upgrade from the original box. In addition to now being 40% slimmer, the console will also have a 2TB hard drive, support 4K gaming, offer HDR, has a built-in power supply, and even feature a newly redesigned controller.

Unfortunately, the dedicated Kinect port has been removed. For players wishing to use Kinect, a separate USB to Kinect power supply accessory will be available at a later date.

The Xbox One S will be available in August for $299.
