About That Mini-NES Classic Edition...

Remember that cool mini-NES that Nintendo announced yesterday? Well it looks like the 30 games that come pre-loaded are the only games you'll get with it.

According to a spokesperson at Nintendo, the console will not be able to connect to the internet and download additional games, or use any physical media of any kind. In fact, the cartridge slot does not even open... For $60 it's still a neat little box, but it is a little disappointing to know there the initial 30 games is where the fun ends.

Perhaps this is a test designed to see how the public reacts to these retro novelties. After all, it is a pretty cool collectable, if you're a classic Nintendo fan.
