Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Activision's fondly remembered Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series is making its way to current-gen consoles and PC.

On July 26, both Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 will be available for download separately, or together in a bundle. Each game will cost $40, while the bundle will be $60.

The announcement was made at the Marvel games panel during San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel has promised some UI improvements, along with some graphical upgrades. Overall, the games should play pretty similarly to their 2006 and 2009 debuts. Hopefully the graphical upgrades are noticeable because these games are now rather old, especially the first one which was on PS2.

The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series features tons of characters from the Marvel Universe, both playable and NPC. The first game focuses on an original story, while the sequel draws on the events from the Civil War and Secret War comic series.
