Destiny: The Collection Coming This September

Destiny: The Collection Coming This September

Attention Guardians and other casual fans of Destiny! Activision just announced that Destiny: The Collection will launch the same day (September 20) as the upcoming expansion, Rise of Iron

The collection will feature every piece of content every made for Destiny all in one $60 package. This is a pretty sweet deal if you've never played Destiny before. Essentially you'll be buying Rise of Iron at full price but you will also get the base game, The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King all for an extra $30.

If you've been playing on a PS3 or Xbox 360, you'll be able to upgrade to PS4 or Xbox One using the upgrade program. Assuming you already have The Taken King on your legacy console, you can upgrade to a next-gen version for $40. You will also get Rise of Iron with this upgrade.

On a side note, PlayStation players will be getting some exclusive content for Rise of Iron including: a new quest line, a new PvP map called Icarus, and a new ship.

Destiny: The Collection and Rise of Iron will be available on September 20 for PS4 and Xbox One.
