Halo 5: Anvil's Legacy DLC and Forge on PC Coming Soon

Halo 5: Anvil's Legacy DLC and Forge on PC Coming Soon

On September 8, Halo 5's Forge mode will be making its way to PC for Windows 10 users. On the same day, Xbox players will be receiving the game's ninth content release, Anvil's Legacy.

Forge is the popular sandbox mode that gives players the tools to create and share their own maps, modes, and games. This marks the first time Forge has been available to PC players, so you know what that means... Get ready for the mods! The PC version of Forge will support 4K resolution for people who can afford that kind of thing. Also, Forge is being brought over to PC with the help of developer SkyBox Labs.

Over on Xbox One, players will see an update that brings the console version of Forge up to snuff with the newly released Windows 10 version. Finally players will be able to browse content from the Forge menu, as opposed to having to add players to their friends list and look up their creations.

Xbox One users will also be getting a new free DLC release called Anvil's Legacy. The pack will include two new maps, Mercy (arena) and Temple (Warzone Assault). As usual, the new content release will also provide players with new weapons, and new REQs.

Once again, 343 Industries has proven that they know DLC better than anyone else. You can expect all this content to release on September 8.
