Sega Might Be Making Alien: Isolation VR
In an interview with MCV, Sega's European President Jurgen Post made a statement regarding the possibility of a VR Alien: Isolation.
"We have a lot of VR kits in the office and people are playing with it. We are exploring ways to release games. We've not announced anything, but we are very close to making an announcement. We did Alien: Isolation about three years ago on Oculus Rift, it was a demo that was bloody scary. To bring that back to VR would be a dream and dreams can come true."
Post's words seem to bring a lot of promise to the idea of an Alien: Isolation VR game. The original game came out in late 2014 and was met with mixed reception.
Horror seems to be a popular fit for VR technology, so it would be interesting to see how Alien: Isolation could stand out among the competition. For more on VR, aliens, and remakes, stay tuned to Second Best Gaming.
