Surprise! Stranger Things is Now a Video Game

Surprise! Stranger Things is Now a Video Game

Season 2 of the acclaimed Netflix series Stranger Things releases on October 27, and to promote the new season, a surprise Stranger Things mobile game was released.

Simple called Stranger Things: The Game, this 8-bit mobile game represents basically everything the kids from the show would love in a 1980s video game. Gameplay is adventure/puzzle oriented and lets players explore the town of Hawkins, Indiana.

Each of the kids has unique abilities like Nancy's bat collection or Lucas' Wrist-Rocket, which can be used to attack from a distance.

You can download the game now for free on iOS or Android, but not Windows Phone, because no one has Windows Phone.

The game was developed by indie studio BonusXP.
