Nintendo's First Super Bowl Ad is All About Zelda and Switch

Nintendo has shown their first-ever Super Bowl ad that will air Sunday night during Super Bowl LI.

As you can imagine, it's all about Switch, but interestingly enough, it's also all about Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Here's the quick thirty second ad.

Of course the trailer features typical 2017 Imagine Dragons arena sounding music, but it is fitting for the occasion. So the Super Bowl tv spot only features Zelda, which makes sense because it will be the Switch's killer app until Mario Odyssey comes around this holiday.

But that's not all. Nitnedo also uploaded an extended cut of the trailer, which jumps around from Zelda, to ARMS, to 1-2-Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and of course Splatoon 2 (seriously, why didn't they just call it Spla2oon?)

We're just about one month away from the Switch launch, and we pray that the analog sticks are as satisfying to flick as the GameCube ones are.
