Splatoon 2 Demo Will be Available for One Weekend in March

Splatoon 2 Demo Will be Available for One Weekend in March

Sometime at in the middle of the night, Nintendo uploaded a new Splatoon 2 video to YouTube that announced the game's "Global Testfire."

From March 24-26 players will have multiple one hour opportunities to try out Splatoon 2 in what are essentially multiplayer stress tests. It's surprising that the demo is available in March, while the game probably won't release until July or August, but hey, more early stuff to play on Switch!

Here are the specifics times that the demo will be available.

The demo times may seem kinda wacky, but that's likely due to Nintendo trying to accommodate players from all regions of the globe.

According to the YouTube video's description, the Testfire will give players access to four different weapons, including the new Splat Dualies, a remixed version of the Splat Roller, and the Splat Charger. The fourth weapon is not included in the description (mystery).

The original Splatooon had a similar Global Testfire demo back in 2015 right before the game launched.
