Magikarp is Getting its Own Mobile Game
The Pokémon Company has another Pokémon game coming to mobile, and it's all about everyone's favorite little useless fish, Magikarp.
The game is slated for Q2 in Japan on iOS and Android, unfortunately there is no word as of yet for a western release. All that's available right now is a teaser site in Japanese. The title for the game is Hanero! Koiking, which translates to Splash! Magikarp.
All the site really shares is a mock newspaper clipping that tells the story of a 27-year-old man that finds two Magikarp-shaped holes in the ground. Oooooo, maybe this is a murder mystery.
If Splash! Magikarp is to be a Japanese exclusive, hopefully it will be weird and quirky. We'll see more soon when the game releases.
