Maybe Switch Will Support VR
Nintendo is exploring the possibility of adding VR to the Switch, assuming they can properly address a few concerns.
Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima explained to Nikkei, "If we are able to resolve the issues with playing [VR] comfortably for long hours, we will support it in one form or another."
This includes the usual complaints that some have with VR, like nausea, headaches, dizziness, etc. Nintendo wants to produce something VR releated that is accessibly, easy to use, and is affordable. While the core technology is already available, Nintendo is waiting for everything to be just right.
This sounds pretty exciting, assuming the future of VR is promising (we think it is). Although Nintendo hasn't ever specified anything, we assume the Switch could utilize VR in a Samsung Gear sort of way, by docking the system into a VR goggle set.
Hopefully one day, we will see Nintendo try their hand at VR again. Cause there was that Virtual Boy thing, and no one wants that to happen again.
