Patch Reduces Zelda: Breath of the Wild Frame Rate Issues

Patch Reduces Zelda: Breath of the Wild Frame Rate Issues

Overnight Nintendo released a patch for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it seems that the game's occasional frame rate dips have been largely addressed.

The patch notes themselves just read, "Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience." Very Nintendo...

Users all of Twitter, Reddit, and NeoGAF are reporting fram rate improvements, especially in locations usually noted for big frame rate issues. So hey, this is good news!

The update is also available for the Wii U version, so don't go getting your panties in a wad. While frame rate issues still exist in the game, it seems like the majority of the problem has been cleaned up, though honestly, I've never had a problem with the game's frame rate in the 30 plus hours I've played.
