Some Switch Owners Reporting Hardware Issues

The Nintendo Switch and Zelda: Breath of the Wild have been out for less than a week, though it seems not all is well as one might think. Apparently, users have been dealing with a number of hardware issues with Nintendo's new console ranging from Joy-Con sync errors, to dead pixels.

This video below shows a montage of all the issues users have been experiencing:

It is important to note that while some have experienced these issues, we don't know that they are common. The handful of users in the above video could potentially only represent a small portion of people that have experienced these problems. Hopefully this doesn't end up creating a disaster for the Switch and its early adopters. The last thing Nintendo needs is their own "Red Ring of Death."

Common issues include dead pixels on screen, scratches on the tablet screen, left Joy-Con sync issues, a Joy-Con strap getting stuck. Games crashing or not being recognized by the console, etc. These are not issues to take lightly, and certainly aren't helping the Switch's image.

We will have to wait to see how Nintendo addresses these issues over time. One thing is for certain, waiting to address the public isn't building any good will.
