Forza Horizon 3 Getting Hot Wheels Expansion May 9
Forza Horizon 3 is getting a new expansion that will take the game's zaniness to a whole new level.
Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels will release on May 9 for Xbox One and PC. The expansion features six new islands in Australia that will be interconnected by Hot Wheels track pieces. Similar to the stunt toys, this expansion will give Forza players the opportunity to drive through big loops, corkscrews, tight turns, big hills, and more. It's like Forza Horizon meets roller coasters.
In addition to the six new islands, classic Hot Wheel cars will make their debut including the 1969 Twin Mill, the 2011 Bone Shaker, the 2012 Rip Rod, and more. Players can modify track pieces with the new Stunt Swap feature that'll allow for bigger jumps, more half pipes, you name it.
Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels will include a campaign mode, playground arena, and 28 new achievements. If you already have the season pass, the expansion will be free. Otherwise it'll run you $19.99 as a standalone download.
Holy freaking crap this looks incredible. It's like the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon of Forza Expansions, and I can't freaking wait to dick around with this expansion. For more on Forza Horizon 3, read my review here (you won't) where I praised the game for being a masterful open world arcade racing game, with a stellar soundtrack and stunning visuals.
