E3 2017: A Glorious First Look at Marvel's Spider-Man

E3 2017: A Glorious First Look at Marvel's Spider-Man

Sony ended their 2017 E3 press conference tonight with a first look at the exclusive Spider-Man PS4 game, and it looks incredible.

The game seems to officially be called Marvel Spider-Man, and we now know that it'll be releasing sometime in 2018.

The gameplay demo shows what appears to be a story mission in what takes place in a seemingly open world. Spidey is taking missions from Captain Watanabe and going after Kingpin's goons, as well as the Demons, a league of baddies under the control of Mister Negative.

It's nice to see Insomniac go with some lesser known villains for a new style of Spider-Man game.

Just look at that jaw dropping gameplay. The animations, the cinematic quick time events. Pure beauty. A 2018 release is about what I was expecting, but damn, that's gonna be a hard wait.

Hopefully we'll see more of Marvel Spider-Man at PSX this year.
