E3 2017: Skull and Bones is Ubisoft's Watered Down Pirate Game

Funny headline, right?

Ubisoft rolled out their long-rumored pirate game today at E3, Skull and Bones. Ubisoft Singapore's new pirate game looks like the spiritual successor to Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, but with far less content, and a whole lot of emphasis on naval combat.

In multiplayer, players will face off in 5v5 matches, hunting for loot and sinking enemy ships. It's like For Honor and Assassin'd Creed: Black Flag had a baby, but with pirates.

Here's the impressive cinematic reveal trailer for the game.

And here's the less impressive gameplay reveal.

Skull and Bones will be out Fall 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
