Skyrim on Switch Has Amiibo Support and Zelda Items

Skyrim for Nintendo Switch seems to be getting some very Nintendo additions.

The game will support motion controls for a separated Joy-Con setup, if you so choose to play that way (I'm sure most won't).

Additionally the game will support Amiibo. The trailer below shows a Breath of the Wild Link figure being used to drop a treasure chest from the sky. The contents include the Master Sword, the Hylian Shield, and a Breath of the Wild-themed Link outfit. Not gonna lie, this outfit looks really weird on a Skyrim character.

Skyrim on Switch should be out this year, according to Bethesda. Get ready to play a six year old game, guys. There's really no way to try and spin this in a positive way. This is just a pretty lame excuse for third-party support...
