Dragon Quest Builders 2 is On the Way

Square Enix announced that a sequel to Dragon Quest Builders is on the way at the Dragon Quest Summer Festival 2017 in Japan (because apparently that's a thing).

Building on the successful formula of Minecraft, I mean, the first Dragon Quest Builder, this game seeks to add new features that would normally just be included in updates like multiplayer, underwater diving, and increasing the number of blocks that can be stacked.

Additionally, Dragon Quest Builders 2 lets you hand glide. Not gonna lie, that's actually pretty cool, just not cool enough to warrant a sequel. Alright, enough of my negativity. I've never even played any kind of Dragon Quest anything.

The first game was rather successful, especially in Japan where Dragon Quest is extraordinarily popular.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be on PS4 and Switch (take that, Vita) when it releases, although we don't know when that release date is, as of now.
