An Ode to the Original Xbox One
Just last week Microsoft announced that production and distribution of the original Xbox One had officially ceased.
This means that you'll only be able to find the Xbox One S and Xbox One X going forward.
To show our respect for 2013's ridiculed home console we present an ode to the original Xbox One:
What words, so small, can be used to explain
A console so large, with power brick to boot
A camera that follows your every whim
Was abandoned before the console went slim
In competition with the almighty PS4
Although you tried to offer so much more
Fans turned to critics, unable to accept
The innovations that were promised in heft
It took three controllers to finally get it right
But the pro was worth it, despite its price hike
And now we say goodbye, before you get to see
The Scorpio that you soon came to be
And just like your untimely demise
This lyric will now come to an abrupt...
Thanks for all the memories OG Xbox One. RIP.
